Dear PCM Families, Community Members and Partners,

It is with a heavy heart that I share that the Washington State Charter School Commission voted to move forward with revoking Pullman Community Montessori’s charter contract.  

 

At this time, we as a board have reviewed all possible outcomes and after discussing the possible benefits and consequences of each, we have decided that, in the best interest of our staff and families, we will not be appealing the commission's decision to revoke our charter at this time.

 

It is important to note that Pullman Community Montessori will remain open through the end of this school year. This decision will not impact operations and your students will continue to receive care and support from our staff and PCM will be providing support for families with the enrollment transition.

 

We are incredibly proud of the work our students have done together, and we have much to celebrate in our students’ accomplishments at PCM. Our students came to us with a diverse range of needs, and every one of our students has accomplished great strides in their time here.  We are grateful for the commitment that our teachers, families, and students showed and for the opportunity to serve your students and partner with you in their learning and development.
