I am a research coordinator in Human Development at WSU. I lived on the Palouse during my own middle-and high-school years, andreturned here after completing my master's degree in public health from UW, where I focused on social and behavioral sciences. I come from an educational background that included both public and private schooling, with much of my elementary education at aMontessori school. The Montessori philosophy that education should help students develop their whole selves --academically, socially, and emotionally, according to their individual needs --speaks to me, and I am excited that Pullman children will soon have access to high-quality, public Montessori education. I look forward to hearing from our community about how PCM can best serve their children's needs.
