I have spent the last seven years working at Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories. There, I have been part of multiple projects focused to improve and protect electric grids around the world. The daily challenges in my career provide constant opportunities for self-growth, personally and professionally. Through my experiences and observations I quickly realized I wanted a program structured to encourage children to self-teach and self-improve at a young age. When I discovered the Montessori teaching philosophy I was very happy to enroll my children in the Montessori School of Pullman to begin their educational journey. When I heard about the possibility of offering all students this education as they progressed through school, I knew it was something I wanted to help get started. My goal is for more families and their children to flourish and grow within the Montessori teaching philosophy.
