Expanding windows of opportunity through personalized place-based Montessori education.

Education, whether through teaching or learning, is at the core of who I am. I was first introduced to Montessori education when my parents enrolled me in a pre-K program. My experience as a student of Montessori has made a lasting impact on my life and approach to learning. I also come from a family of educators and earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from the University of Idaho – Coeur d’Alene. One of my most rewarding positions after graduating was as a Title I reading aide for kindergartners. Since then, I have earned a Master of Science degree in Adult Organizational Learning and Leadership and maintain a professional career in higher education, currently working for the WSU Foundation. I firmly believe in life-long learning and that each person can be successful in their educational journey when provided the time, space, and resources to learn in a way that is most meaningful for them. I look forward to serving on the PCM Board and positively influencing our community education program.
